Ten single cards start Milligan, leaving 94 cards in the stock. New cards arrive directly on the tableau in rows of ten, with a partial final row.
Any run can use an empty column
Build down in alternating colors. Ordered alternating-color runs can move together, and any card or legal run fills an empty column. Eight foundations build from ace to king by suit. There are no separate reserve cells or stock redeals.
A row can help and hinder at once
Before dealing, check for foundation cards or run moves that will become covered. A spare column gives you room to separate blockers after the next row, so avoid using it merely to relocate a harmless run. Duplicate cards offer alternate receivers; select the copy whose move exposes another card or keeps a route open.
