Legal to build, harder to move
A six of hearts can go on a seven of spades because tableau building follows rank, not suit. That mixed pair cannot move as one run, however. Only uninterrupted descending sequences of the same suit travel together; completed suited runs disappear automatically.
Separate suits before the next deal
- Use an empty column to lift a card or suited run away from a mixed sequence.
- Join matching suits when doing so releases hidden cards or useful receiving cards.
- Refill every empty column before clicking the stock. Each click adds ten cards; five stock deals are available.
An empty column accepts any card or legal run. Avoid filling it permanently just to make a column look tidy—you may need it to split a mixed sequence later.
