Carnival Golf puts 75 cards into an overlapping layout. The two-deck game gives you repeated ranks to choose from, but covered cards must be released first.
Every played card becomes the target
An uncovered card can follow a target one rank higher or lower, regardless of suit. Kings and aces connect. A stock draw replaces the target when you need another starting rank; 28 stock cards remain after the initial target, with no redeal.
A duplicate can open a different route
Before selecting between matching ranks, inspect the positions each would uncover. Opening a fresh continuation can keep the chain alive without another draw. An exposed card that currently has no partner may become useful after you reverse direction through another rank. Clear all layout cards to win; unused stock is allowed.
