Same color in the columns, same suit at home
Place a card on the next higher rank of the same color. Ordered descending same-color runs can move together, and any card or legal run fills an empty column. Four foundations build upward by suit from ace through king.
Use the open staircase before dealing
The remaining 24 cards arrive in rows of seven, with a partial final row and no redeal. Before adding a row, look for a run move that releases a low foundation card. Sending a receiver home too early may strand another card of its color, so check what still depends on it.
