Suits do not matter in Calculation. Four foundations start with ace, two, three and four, then advance by their own fixed step until each reaches king.
The next rank depends on the pile
- Ace pile: add one rank each time. Two pile: add two; three pile: add three; four pile: add four.
- Count past king by wrapping to ace. For example, the two pile goes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, queen, ace.
- The remaining 48 cards are in one reserve stack. Move its exposed card to a foundation or one of four storage piles.
A card placed in storage can leave only for a foundation, not another storage pile. Keep the cards needed soon at the exposed ends. Before parking a card, check all four sequences: it may be useful now on a pile whose step you overlooked. Clear every card onto the foundations to win.
