Fred’s Spider begins with fifty visible cards in ten columns. Unlike a completed-run Spider game, its eight foundations accept individual cards upward from ace to king.
A suited run can travel before it is complete
Place an exposed card on the next higher rank regardless of suit. A descending suited sequence may move together, and any card or legal run may fill an empty column. You do not need a full king-to-ace run before sending a card to a foundation.
Low cards deserve a route home
The remaining 54 cards arrive in rows of ten, with a partial final row and no redeal. Before dealing, check for an ace or suited successor you can release. Mixed tableau joins are legal, but they cannot travel as one group; preserve a space or receiver that will let you separate them later.
