Eight single cards start Red and Black, with 96 more in a draw-one stock. Build eight foundations to finish both decks, using the tableau to keep useful ranks accessible.
Runs alternate; foundations follow suit
Build columns down in alternating colors. An ordered alternating-color run can move together, and any card or legal run fills an empty column. Foundations build upward by suit from ace to king. Only the exposed waste card is playable, and the stock cannot be recycled.
Keep a receiver for the next waste card
An empty column can save a useful draw, but occupying every space may prevent you from shifting an existing run. Before accepting a duplicate rank, compare the cards it will cover. A receiver that frees a low foundation card may be more useful than a longer run with no exit.
