The kings divide the opening deal into nine columns, so their lengths vary. All 104 cards are visible, and eight empty reserve cells offer temporary storage.
Give each parked card a way out
- Columns build down in alternating colors. An ordered alternating-color run can move together; any card or legal run fills an empty column.
- Each reserve cell holds one card. There is no stock or later deal.
- Build eight suited foundations from ace to king to finish both decks.
Follow the low cards through the retinue
Start by finding the aces and their blockers. Eight cells can accommodate a substantial rearrangement, but filling them with cards that have no receiver leaves little room for the next one. A cleared column gives you space for an entire run.
