Bastion starts with ten columns of five visible cards and two reserve cells already occupied. There is no stock: all 52 cards are in view.
A seven accepts a six—or an eight
Build in either direction within the same suit. A seven of diamonds accepts the six or eight of diamonds, but no hearts. Ranks do not wrap between king and ace.
- Move only one exposed card at a time.
- A reserve cell holds one card; an empty column accepts any card and allows further building.
- Win by building four suited foundations from ace through king.
Free a cell before you need it
Check whether either reserve card can move onto the tableau or a foundation. That creates room to lift a blocker off an ace. Before parking a card on its suited neighbor, plan where it can go next: building upward can free one low card while burying another.
