A heart-shaped arrangement holds 107 cards. Clear it by playing uncovered cards one rank higher or lower than the target. Suits are irrelevant.
The heart opens from its exposed edges
- Each removal becomes the new target. King and ace are neighboring ranks here.
- A covered card becomes available only when every card overlapping it has been removed.
- Three decks supply 48 stock draws after the opening target. There is no redeal, and unused stock may remain when the layout is clear.
Use duplicates to choose an opening
Several copies of a rank can be available at once. Compare which position each would release before choosing a card. A shorter path that opens a new layer may be more helpful than a long path through cards that leave the heart’s covered areas unchanged.
