Well Golf is the adjacent-rank game with an overlapping 68-card layout. Clear the arrangement by playing available cards onto the target, changing that target after every move.
One rank away in either direction
An uncovered card plays when it is one rank above or below the target, regardless of suit. Kings and aces connect. Cards hidden by overlaps cannot move until their covering positions clear. After the starting target, 35 stock cards provide new starting ranks; there is no redeal.
Opening the ring gives you new choices
Before choosing between equal ranks, compare which position each removal will uncover. A chain that releases another section can be more useful than one that leaves all remaining cards blocked. Check for a change of direction before drawing. You win when the layout is empty, even if stock cards remain.
