Blondes and Brunettes builds foundations upward in alternating colors rather than by suit. Eight ace-led foundations must hold the two decks, while nine tableau columns provide working space.
A vacated column takes the waste card
Build tableau columns down in alternating colors, moving one exposed card at a time. Empty columns refill automatically from the waste, with a stock draw if needed; you cannot choose a manual replacement. The ten-card reserve supplies its exposed top card without automatic column refills.
Color matters more than the suit symbol
Any opposite-colored card of the next rank can extend a foundation. Choose the copy that frees a useful blocker. The stock draws one card with no redeal, so inspect the current waste before clearing a column that will receive it. All 104 cards must finish on the foundations.
