Four aces begin the foundations. The remaining cards are all visible: seven columns of five and thirteen separate reserve cards. There is no stock.
Rank matters in the columns
Place an exposed card on the next higher rank, regardless of suit or color. Move one card at a time; an empty column accepts any card. Reserve cards can move out, but their spaces cannot be used for parking tableau cards. Foundations build upward by suit from the aces.
- Look for a reserve card that can join a tableau column and release a needed foundation rank later.
- Before adding a card to a column, inspect what it will block. The thirteen reserve cards offer choices, but no extra empty storage.
