Six columns of six cards form the garden, and sixteen separate reserve cards surround it. Every card is visible from the start; there is no stock.
Any reserve card can be used
Build tableau columns down in alternating colors. Ordered alternating-color runs can move together, and any card or legal run fills an empty column. All sixteen reserve cards are individually available, but their vacated positions cannot receive cards. Four foundations build upward by suit from ace through king.
Choose the reserve card that opens a column
A reserve receiver may let you shift a run and expose a low card beneath it. Check that possibility before sending the receiver home. A spare column is valuable working space, especially when several garden cards need moving before the next foundation rank becomes reachable.
