Keep receivers available for the waste
Build down in alternating colors. Ordered alternating-color runs can move together, and any card or legal run may fill an empty column. Only the exposed waste card can move. The stock cannot be recycled; complete the four suited ace-to-king foundations to win.
A legal move should improve the next one
Before taking a waste card, check which receiver it will cover and whether you can release it later. Empty columns let you shift entire runs to reach lower cards. Use that space to open a route to a foundation card, rather than consuming every column as soon as a draw becomes playable.
