Seasons starts with all five tableau columns empty and the four aces already home. The remaining cards arrive through a draw-one stock, so you shape the opening yourself.
Choose where each new column begins
Build down by rank regardless of suit or color, moving one exposed card at a time. Any card may occupy an empty column, but runs cannot move together. The foundations continue upward by suit from the aces through king. Only the exposed waste card is playable, and there is no redeal.
Do not turn every space into a long pile
A high starting card can receive several lower ranks, yet its column may cover a needed foundation successor. Before creating another pile, check which current column can release a card. Keep working room for blockers that cannot move onto an exposed receiver.
