The four aces are already home. Twelve columns of four hold the remaining 48 visible cards, so Delta Star begins with every needed rank in view.
A cleared column accepts any card
Build down by suit, moving one exposed card at a time. Ordered runs cannot travel together. Any card may fill an empty column. Finish the four foundations upward by suit from the aces through king; there is no stock or reshuffle.
Work back from the next foundation card
Locate the two of a suit, then identify the receiver for each card above it. Clearing a short column can provide temporary storage for a blocker that lacks a suited landing place. Before filling that space again, check whether it is still needed to release another low card. Every foundation move makes the visible puzzle smaller.
