Four rows each have fourteen spaces. Arrange a different suit from ace to king across the first thirteen positions, leaving the final space empty.
A gap needs the card to its left
- Any ace can occupy an empty leftmost space.
- Elsewhere, fill an empty space only with the next higher card of the same suit as its left neighbor.
- No card can go directly after a king. You cannot place a card onto an occupied space.
You have five reshuffles. A correctly ordered suited prefix starting with an ace stays in place; the rest of the cards are gathered and redealt. Before using a shuffle, look for moves that lengthen those prefixes. Filling a gap at the far end of a broken row may make less progress than adding one more card to an ace-led sequence.
