Turkish Carpet turns a forty-card tableau into a pairing puzzle. Eight columns are fully visible, but only their exposed ends are available to match.
A pair removes both cards
- Two available cards of the same rank form a pair, regardless of suit or color. Drag one onto the other.
- There is no ordinary sequence building or move into an empty column.
- Draw the remaining twelve cards one at a time. Stock passes are unlimited, and clearing the tableau wins even if some stock cards remain.
Uncover complementary columns
If several matching cards are exposed, choose a pair that releases useful partners beneath them. Using a waste card as one half of the pair can improve access in both areas. Clearing a short column alone is less useful if every other column remains blocked.
