A long staircase of 55 cards stretches across ten columns. Eight foundations await the two decks: one ace-based and one king-based pile for each suit.
The tape can grow either way
- Tableau cards build one rank up or down in alternating colors. Only individual exposed cards move.
- Any card can fill an empty column. Uncover hidden cards to make them available.
- Ace foundations build up by suit; king foundations build down. The draw-one stock has 49 cards and no redeal.
A receiver can be above or below
When a red seven blocks a useful card, check for both a black six and a black eight. That extra choice can preserve an empty column. Before drawing, inspect both sets of foundations—one may accept a card that the other cannot use yet. Win by sending every card home.
