Twenty visible tableau spaces feed eight foundations. Four start on aces and build upward; four start on kings and build downward, always by suit.
A vacated space refills
The game uses two decks. Each tableau space initially holds one card, and a card taken from it is replaced from the stock while cards remain. You cannot build on an occupied space, but any exposed card can move into an empty one once refills are no longer available.
A suited rank may fit either its rising ace pile or its falling king pile. Check the next exposed cards before choosing a destination. You can also deal a new row onto the tableau, but that covers current cards. Use available foundation moves first, then deal when the twenty spaces no longer offer a useful route. Win by clearing all cards onto the foundations.
