Australian opens with seven columns of four visible cards. A 24-card draw-one stock supplies the rest, and you have only one pass through it.
The lead card needs a suited receiver
Build down by suit. Any face-up card can lead a move, carrying every card resting on it even when that group is unordered. Only kings or king-led groups fill empty columns. Four foundations build upward by suit from ace through king.
Plan the next separation before moving
A group move may expose a low card while transporting several unrelated blockers. Check where those blockers can go afterward, especially when their suited receivers are already buried. Before drawing past a playable waste card, see whether it provides the receiver needed for such a move. There is no stock redeal to recover a missed opportunity.
