Diagonal deals 81 cards into nine columns, with hidden cards forming a diagonal pattern. The remaining 23 cards arrive in rows from the stock.
Two kinds of group movement
Build columns down by suit. Any face-up card can lead a move and carry the cards on it, even when they are unordered. Empty columns require a king or king-led group. The separate reserve accepts a single card or an ordered descending run of one suit; it does not accept a mixed, unordered group.
The reserve must be cleared too
There is no redeal, and the last stock row is partial. Use the reserve to release a receiver or uncover a hidden card, but plan its return before filling it. Win by arranging eight complete suited king-to-ace runs in the tableau, with no cards left in the stock or reserve.
